Program Purpose
Our program’s purpose is to comprehensively train and support developmentally disabled parents and provide prevention and advocacy for maintaining healthy families. Our core curriculum provides practical 1:1 skill development for caring for a baby or an older child and also provides significant support to parents to improve their independent living skills.

- We provide parent training to expectant mothers and fathers, and parents of infants, toddlers, pre-adolescents who are referred by the Regional Center.

- Family reunification, court, monitored child visitation support
- Pediatric and Medical Support
- Prenatal Care Support/Lamaze Training
- Child Care and Child School Referrals
- Family Individual Therapy Referrals and Drug Treatment Referrals
- Daily Activities Help, Bonding and Age-appropriate Activities for Children
- Support in responding to the emotional needs of parent and child, Money Management Support, shopping, time and household management, etc.
- Referrals For SSI, WIC, and others
Entrance Criteria
- Referred by Regional Center, Individuals must meet Regional Center Criteria.
- Individuals can be either pregnant or already have children willing and motivated to attend a parenting program.
